1. I know Him, the Lord  Who holds my hands and leads me on To cross  the Jordan. Life may be hard and gloomy,  The Lord will never forsake His own. My strength may dry up,  And the shadow of death may overtake me.  The Lord will never abandon His chosen ones In death and in life In death, in life I know Him the Lord,  The Lord holds my life and leads me In death, in life I know Him the Lord,  The Lord holds my life and leads me  2. I’m owned by the Lord Who knew me before I was formed  In my mother’s womb Yet life is dim and fearful. He assures me of His ever presence. Death stings, body decays, Yet I wake up clothed with heavenly body. 
 I’m welcomed by the host of angels and saints To heaven’s sweet home At Home!  At Home! In heaven’s sweet home I’m welcomed to heaven’s sweet home At Home! At Home! In heaven’s sweet home I’m welcomed to heaven’s sweet home
